Fall 2020 Application Updates

12/3/2020

Hey Gators!

For those of you who applied for fall 2020 successfully, by now you should have either received a confirmation email from nationals, or at least have been in touch with one our officers via email regarding your application. If this applies to you, congratulations! You are now officially apart of Psi Chi at San Francisco State, and we look forward to hosting a meet and greet for all of you as soon as we get everyone fully registered with our chapter!

If you intended to apply to our organization and haven't heard back, it's likely because you only filled out the application for nationals that is listed, and didn't additionally email us with the separate application PDF as well as your transcript. While the nationals application is indeed required to join Psi Chi @ SFSU, we also need you to fill out the application PDF that we have posted and email it to us, along with your transcript. This is so that we can make sure everyone meets the requirements set forth by the national office, as reviewing applications is up to us, not them!

It's too late for us to consider more applications for fall 2020, so if the latter portion of information applies to you, please consider applying again in the spring semester of 2021. See our "Apply" tab for more specific instructions and requirements for applying to Psi Chi at San Francisco State.

We hope to hear from you next year!

Best,

Update for Our New/Current Members

11/18/2020

Hello members of Psi Chi at SFSU,

We just wanted to let you all know that we haven't forgotten about you, and are trying to get the ball rolling with events for you all as fast as we can!

Unfortunately we are in a slight stand still at the moment, as we are waiting to be given access to our account with the school's banking department. Unfortunately we can't ask for Psi Chi access from the national office until the school gives us access to this information, although they have told us they will do this very soon. So please just hang tight and bear with us for a little bit longer!

We anticipate sending emails out to all of you sometime around the upcoming Thanksgiving break, these will provide an additional update about our first virtual activities for the academic year.

Thanks again for your patience, and we hope you are all well physically and mentally!

Fall 2020 Pandemic Update - Stay Tuned!

9/28/2020

Picture
Hello Current and Prospective Psi Chi Members!

As you all know, the pandemic has made the regular course of business for students, professors, and student run organizations like ours drastically different. With campus being closed through the remainder of the 2020-2021 academic year, we are sadly unable to host any in-person events for our members like we normally would!

However, to our members, please know that your current officers are certainly hoping to bring you at least some sort of online workshops once we have finished reviewing applications for this semester.

We hope you are all well and staying safe out there! Please email us at sfpsichi@gmail.com with any questions.

Best Regards,

The 2020-2021 Psi Chi Admin. Team
